What is a COB LED downlight?

Chip-on-Board or "COB" refers to the mounting of bare LED chips in direct contact with a substrate such as silicon carbide or sapphire to produce an LED array. COB LEDs offer many advantages over older LED technologies, such as surface mount device ("SMD") LEDs or double in-line package ("DIP") LEDs.

The COB LED downlight is designed for commercial new construction applications and each version features our high-lumen, high-efficiency COB LED design. The integrated LEDs are combined with dimmable drivers and high-transmission light diffusers to ensure uniform light output. Available options include reflectors and stepped baffles.

We install advanced controls to turn individual lights or groups on or off for easy consumer access.
